Also it would be better to include such food stuff in breakfast only so that those calories may be burned during the entire day’s activities. High protein and low carbohydrate diet also helps in keeping the triglycerides levels proper and avoid and danger for heart.

If you want to have a balanced ‘low carb breakfast’, you can include various things in your first meal. Eggs are considered to be one of the best sources of protein and you can make various dishes like omelet or frittata to start your day with a healthy breakfast. You can also include other edibles to have a high protein diet. Apart from eggs, cereals are also good for a low carb breakfast. There are various food stuffs available in the market which are low in carbs yet hold all the essential nutrition values. You can try some of them like, oatmeal, flax cereal, special K, etc. Other high protein and low carbohydrate diet may include muffins, breads and biscuits made from almond meal, flax meal and eggs.

Gluten allergy – What to do:

In case you have gluten allergy, you can’t have any of these cereals but there are other alternatives for it. You can have dairy products with flax seeds, nuts, berries and frozen fruits. This would not only prove to be a balanced diet for you but also it will keep your heart healthy by keeping the triglycerides levels in control. You cannot eat every cereal if you have gluten allergy but by including seasonal fruits, vegetables and dairy products in your meal, you can get complete nutrition without any problem.
